How to Prepare for an Appointment:
Remove all eye makeup including mascara. For those who use contacts, they will need to be removed during the procedure but can be be put back right after the procedure. Eyelash application usually take 1-3 hours depending on the extension type. The application procedure is painless and relaxing. Clients recline comfortably with their eyes closed during the entire procedure. Many clients fall asleep.

How Long Do Xtreme Lashes Last?
The eyelash extensions are considered “semi-permanent” because they remain in place for the cycle of the natural eyelashes which typically fall out every 2-3 months and are naturally replaced with the growth of new eyelashes. This is why we recommend touch-ups every 2-6 weeks.

Other information:
The extensions are water resistant. Eyelash extensions do not require a lifestyle change for active people. You can exercise  swim, shower and go to the spa as usual as long as it is not in excess. (Please do not swim or spa for 48 hours after the procedure to allow the adhesive to fully cure.)

Information on mascara use:
One of the main advantages of Eyelash extension is that you don’t have to use mascara. Mascara can be applied between maintenance to maintain a look of fullness. You can purchase one of our specially formulated Xtreme Lashes mascaras from your local Lashes Stylist. DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATER-PROOF MASCARA. Waterproof mascara along with any type of oil based mascara will dissolve the adhesive and cause your Eyelash extension to fall off.
